Sumkar DDA helps copra farmers with price subsidy
The Sumkar district administration last Thursday presented K150,000 to two copra buyers as price subsidy to farmers on Karkar island.

Cocoa farmers in Pomio District of East New Britain and those in Gasmata and Kandrian in West New Britain will received subsidised freight thanks to an agreement signed by the Pomio District Development Authority with a shipping company.
