The Yangoru Saussia District Development Authority has announced the start of a vital road project that will connect remote villages in Numbo LLG to the main Sepik Highway, benefiting nearly 10,000 residents.

More than 2000 community members from a rural village in East Sepik will have clean water for cooking and drinking after they received water tanks 

Seventeen villages in the rural Sauso LLG in Yangoru-Saussia District will now receive a new road and health centre

Seventeen villages in the rual Sauso LLG, Yangarou-Saussia and three other villages in Angoram district will now receive new road worth K1M and a new health center. 

Three villages who are a major producer and suppliers of dry cocoa beans in the district will soon take a ride on vehicles with their cocoa bags from their village to Wewak or Maprik to sell after a newly cut road was initiated by local MP and DDA in June.
