Talasea  DDA supports the Valoka Parish with K10,000 worth of raisins and K5000 cash for their 100-year celebration. 

The United Church Women’s Ministry in West New Britain Province had the honour of hosting Talasea Open Member Hon. Freddie Reu Kumai, along with his District Administrator, Mr Melchior Babo, to commemorate the 53rd Anniversary of the Women’s Ministry in Papua New Guinea.
